Jo Koy is one of today’s premier stand-up comedians, known for his wildly relatable comedy inspired by family, culture, and everyday life. From his early days performing in a Las Vegas coffee house to selling out arenas around the world, Koy has become a global comedy force and consistently ranks among the top 10 highest-grossing stand-up comedians according to Pollstar and Billboard.

Koy has broken sales records at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including Madison Square Garden, The Forum in Los Angeles, the O2 Arena in London, Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, and arenas across Australia and the Middle East. In 2017, he set a record with 11 sold-out shows and 23,000 tickets sold at the Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu, leading the city to officially proclaim “Jo Koy Day.” He later sold out Climate Pledge Arena and Tacoma Dome on his Funny Is Funny World Tour.

In film and television, Koy starred in Universal Pictures’ Easter Sunday, a semi-autobiographical comedy celebrating his Filipino heritage and the first major studio film with an all-Filipino cast. He has appeared in Disney’s Haunted Mansion and voiced characters in Netflix and Paramount+ animated films, while also releasing multiple hit Netflix stand-up specials, including Live From Brooklyn, which debuted in the global Top 10.

Beyond comedy, Koy is a strong advocate for representation in entertainment, serving as a producer on projects highlighting Filipino stories and talent. He is currently touring on his Jo Koy: Just Being Koy Tour.
