The 16th Fargo Moorhead LGBT Film Festival will open in Fargo at the Fargo Theatre on Thursday, September 26, 2024. This year’s festival, which features the work of 25 domestic and International filmmakers over 10 programs, will be run through September 29th in person with a virtual encore that runs from 9/30-10/14 on our festival’s eventive.org streaming platform. 

The theme of this year’s 16th edition is connections. How do we relate to each other in the 2SLGBTQ+ community and how we find ourselves together in an ever evolving world? Gather yourselves for some of the best cinema of the year.

The mission of the FMLGBTFF is to celebrate our histories, educate, engage, and facilitate discussion around local and worldwide human rights topics from the 2SLGBTQIA+ perspective. The festival was founded By Raymond Rae in 2008 and its legacy is stewarded by The Human Family, a non-partisan 501(c)(3) based in North Dakota founded to change our communities through art.

The North Dakota Human Rights Arts Festival is supported in part by a grant from the North Dakota Council on the Arts, which receives funding from the state legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts. and Gender Justice ND
