    Rental Rates To be negotiated with the executive director. Typically $1000.00 for day rentals. Additional costs may be incurred for film rental and shipping, hourly technical wages, catering or equipment rentals. A 10% handling charge may apply. Rental charges are due at contract signing; all other charges are billed at the conclusion of the final performance, and are due within 7 working days. All other arrangements regarding lobby displays, concession sales, marquee, organists, etc. will be negotiated at the time of contract signing. Where additional security is deemed necessary by the theatre management, it will be required and billed to the user.
    General Terms & Conditions Access to stage and dressing rooms is limited to members of the company and technical personnel. No smoking is allowed in the theatre; alcoholic beverages are allowed only when special arrangements are made with the executive director.
    Box Office The Fargo Theatre box office is available for ticket sales. Contact the executive director for arrangements and costs.
    Staffing The Fargo Theatre requires a technical staff person on duty at all times when the facility is being used. A lighting director will be present when any theatrical lighting is being set up. Organizations with qualified board operators may operate the sound/light boards for their performances on approval by the theatre staff. The stage manager is on duty when the stage is being used. Hourly wages for the above will be billed back to the renting organization.
    Stage Size Procenium 29'6" Wide x 23' High x 28'4" Deep
    Orchestra pit can be raised to stage level for thrust stage. (Drawing 1- 212K, Drawing 2- 256K)
    Loading 8' x 10' overhead door stage right at stage level.
    Dressing Rooms Three located downstairs below stage. When not using large orchestra, an additional chorus room is available. Restroom in dressing room area.
    Musical Equipment
    • Baldwin console piano.
    • 4-Manual, 21-Rank WurliTzer Theatre Pipe Organ with console on independent lift.
    • White baby grand piano in mezzanine
    • Grand piano on stage - Kwai sampler with velocity touch.
    There is no charge for use of the instruments, but piano tuning is billed to the user. The Theatre Organ is maintained by the American Theatre Organ Society, Red River Chapter.
    Sound 16 channels with board (Yamaha) located in balcony mix position. Additional board in control room at rear of balcony level seating. Window wall removes for acoustic coupling to auditorium..QSC/JBL power. 2-channel monitoring. General purpose microphones available including 5 wireless channels with hand-held or lav available . Users requiring more sound equipment may bring in a separate system or additional equipment to interface with the house system. Qualified engineers may operate the board during performances. Any connection to the house system must be approved by our technical staff. Additional costs will be billed to the user.
    Lighting Strand, controlled by Horizon '98 computer software (DMX) or Strand 2-scene 24-channel board. 288Kw dimming capacity, 96 channels including house lights.  A 400-amp 3-phase disconnect is available on stage for addition power needs.  A 100-amp connection to isolated power for sound is also available.

    Users may want to use their own separate system or provide additional equipment to use with the house system. Any connection to the house system must be approved by the lighting director. When an independent system is to be tied into power a charge will be added.

    Rigging Grid at 46 feet, 12 line sets. (See attachment- 260K)
    Projection
    • 35 & 70-mm, Dolby SRD, all aspect ratios.
    • 16mm projection.
    • 2 Ektagraphic slide projectors with dissolve.
    • Video Projection from VHS/DVD/Computer or other external source.  Resolution from SD to 1080i supported.
    Communication Clear-com system with headsets (5) at SMP, audio, lights and spotlights (2).
